The iMcV-MediaLinX series of switching media converters offers service providers and enterprise networks unparalleled flexibility in connecting copper-based networks to Fast Ethernet or Gigabit fiber optic infrastructures. The SNMP-manageable iMcV-MediaLinX converters allow device managers to use Auto Negotiation functionality on the twisted pair port for plug-and-play operation, or to manually configure the port for the desired speed and duplex mode. Also, the fiber port can be set for Half- or Full-Duplex operation (10/100 Mbps only).
iMcV-LIM series Media Converters are ideal in all premises requiring  LAN to fiber distance extension. For example, these units can be used to interconnect workgroup switches over fiber optics. Service providers can deploy iMcV-LIM converters back-to-back to provide high-speed data connections to business customers. 40KM capability
