1973 Winnebago Indian D22 (63000 mi ) 440-3 engine with orig manuals and order sheet !!. Condition is "Used". I've owned this Winnebago for 8 years I think, done a lot of work on it it's a 73 Indian the perfect interior layout couch in the back had a dinette which I removed and made into a couch made it seem much bigger and usable , removed all the carpet except for the engine compartment installed wood flooring new roof and and hand built oak trusses every 12 in with a curve on the top side so water doesn't puddle. TPO RV roofing system, insulated, rewired everything in the ceiling ran coax front to rear for TVs, new water tank pump and water lines throughout valves everywhere new kitchen faucet hand built oak interior trim. Has a scissors bed that drops down over the driver's seat that sleeps two, couch sleeps two, gaucho couch in the rear sleeves two. Refrigerator is original 110 and gas has auto defrost believe it or not. Has both roof air and engine air I still need to install the condenser on the roof cuz that's where the original one was it's ready for it I just haven't mounted it yet since putting on the new roof . I have the rear ladder rear, spoiler and rear luggage rack which I have not installed yet cuz I don't really want to put holes in my new roof that's why there is no vent in the bathroom and no vent over the kitchen area but it is pre-wired for them to be installed if a person wants to. My theory is the least holes in the roof the lease chance for leaks way too much work to do it again in 20 years lol, all new tires, 8 bolt Wheels, disc brakes on the front I have all the original Winnebago manuals ,order sheet ,warranty sheet for everything I think I'm the third owner if I remember correctly it's spent most of its life in the campground I just took it on a 300 mile round trip with my grandson in 95° weather with no problems. The bathroom is all original except for the plumbing going to the faucet it has a mini bathtub shower combo, very nice rig has cruise control but I haven't fixed it yet it has 63,000 original miles drives nice down the road at 60 miles an hour doesn't even get blown around by the semis , pretty tight!! It turns heads wherever you go, people want to check it out so if you don't want attention don't buy it lol when I went camping I was pulling a 64 Volkswagen dune buggy on a trailer behind it people were taking videos when they were driving by... never seen one with a rear spoiler which is meant to keep the rear window clean. has a converter that's original I added zantrex inverter charger so when you're plugged in it keeps the batteries charged. It did not come with a generator originally I found one in New York and had it shipped to my house it's an original style Onan 5000 runs okay needs a little TLC. This one is the perfect size not the small brave not the big chieftain, the couch is the best thing I ever did was take out the dinette and built the couch set up I had the original table and all the brackets for it but now you can spend the driver's seat around and the passenger seat for entertaining. I also have the original seat belts from the dinette so you can seat belt four people in on the couch. pretty cool machine hate to sell it had a heart attack a couple months ago so I had to take some time off that's when I found the roof leak and decided to replace the complete roof , remove the old carpet and redo the plumbing while I was in there spent 2 months but now it's beautiful !! I would have no problem driving it anywhere Wisconsin to California would not be an issue as long as you don't mind going 55- 60 that's what it was built for. it averages about 6-7 miles to the gallon pulling the buggy, it has dual gas tanks gas gauges don't work. Gauge on the dash works but the senders in the tank I think are bad but when I run out on one tank I flip it over and find a gas station one tank holds 40 gallons the other holds 20 I went through about 50 fuel filters over the years I think they're pretty well cleaned out now I never pulled the tanks I just carried filters with me it's not perfect but it's pretty sweet if you want more information or pictures give me a call or email me 715-456-1784Happy bidding I'm not going to give it away it's way too cool !! if it doesn't sell my grandson will end up with it in 20 years when I kick the bucket lol. since I've owned it it's always been parked in a shed life is good in a classic Winnebago. serious bidders/ questions only please, i'm to old for BS
