This is a clean, unabused convertible we acquired from a collector. You can have a good looking collector car ready for show and go without spending a fortune.
EXTERIOR: The body is actually very straight. No problem areas, no damage or blisters. It is smooth even all along the bottoms. The paint has a deep reflection. The beautiful emerald green metallic is all laid out evenly and the clear coat is polished very glossy. Upfront the bumper was rechromed, the grill is in very nice shape. The emblems, door handles moldings are very nice. The windshield is crystal clear. It has sport mirrors. In back the bumper is rechromed, the tail lights are real nice. The power top works properly. A new black top was installed by Riggs Brothers. New tires and chrome Magnum 500 wheels really set the car off.
INTERIOR: Overall very good condition, no tears or damage. The seats all look to be real good, the door panels might have been reupholstered. It has a center console between the bucket seats, it's in real nice shape. The whole dash area is real nice, all the gauges work. The steering wheel has a rim blow horn, heater control panel is clean. The knobs, gauges, dash pad are excellent. The carpet was replaced and it has embroidered Cougar floor mats. The interior lights work.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It has a proper, unmolested engine compartment. Everything looks like the way it should. It has a smooth running 351 Windsor motor. It is complete with original manifolds, air cleaner assembly including the heat riser tubes. It also has original valve covers with stickers still on them. The battery is bolted down properly. The fan shroud, original washer bottle, hood insulation, horns are all intact.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It is solid and complete. It has a trunk mat and matching tire cover over the spare. It also has a jack. There's a car cover included. Under the truck lid and the jamb are painted nicely, the weatherstrip was replaced.
UNDERSIDE: It's a well preserved original underside. It's been maintained- the tie rod ends, ball joints, sway bar bushings were replaced. Leaf springs were replaced. Looking up at the motor it has a new fuel pump. U-joints look fresh. The floor and frame rails are all real dry and solid. New dual exhaust front to back, it sounds great!
Here is a good looking car that is unique. If I owned it I would have the top down all summer and I would enjoy driving it everyday the sun is out!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.
**These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded and you will be given a 1 year membership.

    About Volo Auto Museum
No other collector car dealer has been in business longer than the Volo Auto Museum.  Owned and operated by the Grams family since 1960.  We are the only collector car dealer that has 4 generations of experience with buying, selling and consigning classic autos.  For our family, classic cars are more than a business, it is a passion.  Over the decades, we have maintained a reputation for dealing with integrity as proven with our high reviews and A+ rating with the BBB.
Buying a classic car can be exciting, but also stressful.  We want to take the stress out of your buying experience by allowing you the time and tools you need to get to know the car you are interested in before making your investment, not after.  Unlike auctions, we allow test drives, 3rd party inspections, the use of our shop and car lift.  No reasonable request will be turned down.
Selling a car can be equally stressful, but it doesn’t have to be.  After reviewing your quality collector car, we will discuss the options we have available to you and let you decide what works best for you.  We have cash available for immediate sales and we also offer a consignment program that surpasses anyone else’s.   Unlike percentage based programs with fees; we work with a no fee, net to owner.  This allows us the opportunity to treat and market your car as if it were our own.  We invest approximately 00 of our own money into marketing your car, which means if it doesn’t sell, we lose, not you.  So, we are more aggressive in selling your car!
