Mercury Cougar.
Please note:  This car is a highly modified 1968 Mercury Cougar. Aside from the outside 1968 Cougar sheet metal there is nothing original about this car. It is a car that you can take to a Cruise Night or just raise hell in the neighborhood. It turns heads wherever it is driven.
Body
: Tubbed with tied frame rails, and an 8 point roll bar. “Mustang 2” front suspension with a Flaming River manual rack. (Shock towers removed). Side graphics are decals and can be removed. Color is “Medium Gulf Blue”, Functional Boss 9 hood scoop.
Interior
:
Two racing bucket seats (no Back seat) with Blue Simpson racing harnesses. Full instruments & gauges. B&M shifter.
Engine
: 460 Big Block Ford with Trick Flow aluminum heads with ARP head stud kit. Trick Flow valve covers and breathers. Aluminum intake with a newer 850 Mighty Demon carb. Cam is a “Cam Research” solid lifter cam with a 630 lift and Harland Sharpe rockers. Pete Jackson (Noisy) gear drive timing set. High Volume oil pump. Running “Mobil 1” (15-50) oil with zinc additive. Mallory Distributor w/Crane Ignition box. Custom “Jet Hot”  coated headers with Summit race mufflers and 3” Stainless side exhaust. (No Radio, would be useless). Trans is a C-6 with a 2800 stall converter.
Rear
: Moser narrowed Ford 9” with 4:11 gears and a Detroit Locker center section. Drum brakes with a Lokar emergency brake set-up.
Front Brakes
: Stainless Steel Brake Co. 11” disc brake set up with Stainless flex lines.
Cooling:
Griffin Aluminum Radiator with 2 Perma Cool puller fans and 1 Derale 16” pusher fan. Runs  180 all day. Aluminum catch can.
Tires
: Like new Mickey Thompson 29 x 18.5 x 15 rear and 15” radials on front. Wheels are Cragar Superlites. The center caps say Weld.
Trunk
: 15 gal fuel cell, Trunk mounted new Optima Battery. Digital turn signal box (Sequentials work), Master electric cutoff behind the flip down license plate bracket.
Tons of new Chrome and detailing items. Bumpers, emblems, Marker lights, etc.
Comes with a 3” pile of receipts.
