This car was in single family ownership from new for about 40 years, followed by a long-term enthusiast owner, and is in superb condition, having been very extensively restored by a marque specialist in the late 1990’s (at about 77,000 miles), and having only being driven to car shows, rallies and events since then, accumulating a further 7,000 miles. The restoration included a complete (and correct) all new Jaguar interior, and a full engine rebuild by an XK specialist. The car drives impeccably, and has excellent panel fit and paintwork. It is fully matching numbers, with a Jaguar heritage certificate and extensive history including its original purchase documentation and stamped service book, plus handbook and manuals. The car comes complete with a period correct Blaupunkt radio, and its original jack, hammer and tool roll.
